First things first, you have to remember that a successful cold calling experience is not only the one that closes deals but also those in which you commit to a meeting on a later date.
You have to make sure you practice enough and then write a script you can use as a reference on the phone. It is not supposed to be something that will drag you along the call but something that can guide you and help you speak clearly and confidently.
