Chewing gum can release stress.
Why?
No, seriously it’s been proven by science! A study by Cardiff University that had 101 participants found that those who chewed gum at work had lower stress levels.
I know that you are thinking, this can’t be done in 1 minute! But…think again. You shouldn’t just chew the gum half-heartedly. You need to chew like it’s the last piece of gum you’ll ever eat! Take out all your anger, frustration, disappointment or even excitement on that piece of gum. Then after 1 minute you can throw it out. It’ll probably have lost its flavor by then anyways, and we don’t all have jobs where it’s acceptable to chew gum all the time. Try and see for yourself.
