Why?
From the very first day of training, employees - who are called Cast Members at Disney - learn that their primary goal is to focus on each customer and create happiness—no matter their position.
They're encouraged to be creative when solving problems and usually go out of their way to provide a memorable experience for a guest.
One of the ways for them to do this is never to say "I don't know" to a customer. Instead, employees have to work a way out of the problem and help the guest who asked them for help.
Disney's principles teach us that memorable customer experiences start when employees know their roles, understand their significance and work hard not to let the magic fade.
