Why?

This step is about making everything suitably concise while still cohesive. Let's think about another hypothesis: I've written a fantasy book and need to start reviewing the chapters, see if there are any plot holes, check if the gist of the story is according to what I've previously planned, and so on. If I were to follow the SCAMPER Method, I'd be able to try out different outcomes by cutting out a whole chapter that is well-written and good for some characters but isn't as relevant as I'd anticipated. I could also eliminate a character and see how the book turns out without them. There are no rules for this brainstorming method as there are no restrictions to the imagination! Let your creativity flow, and explore your idea in every possible aspect. Photo by Jenny Pace on Unsplash
