Why?

You receive a login code and a password or your Employee ID Card to swipe and log on into the system in most stores. The store manager is usually the one responsible for setting you up in the system. Once you get your credentials ready, you log in to the system. It will register that you are the employee accessing and working on that station. Once you have logged on, you can check out customers (or take orders), look up prices, and open the cash drawer. ATTENTION!: Never leave the system logged in if you need to walk away from the register. If someone unauthorized accesses the cash drawer while you were logged in the system, you are liable!
