Why?

Keeping a good posture is 'basic'; funny anecdotes are interesting, as long as they are thoroughly thought through and fit the context. Connecting with the interviewer goes a long way towards engaging them, though. How can you engage the interviewer? ✓ Call the interviewer by their name. In case you are likely to forget, jot it down somewhere in your notepad. ✓ Show interest in your interview. Take advantage of the warm-up phase, ask questions about them, and make small talks. You can ask about their time in the company, or commuting time, for instance. ✓ Make it a little personal. You can share outside interests or background information that can help an interviewer relate to you as a person. ✓ Find out what you have in common with the interviewer. If you know your interviewer's name beforehand, try to look them up on LinkedIn (or even Instagram or Facebook). Learn about something you both have in common and make it a point to mention it in the interview, especially in the warm-up phase in case it is too personal. Building this connection might make the interviewer more likely to remember you and be inclined to hire you.
