Why?

According to a survey conducted in February 2021, an adult in the United States spends five to six hours on their phone on a daily basis, not including work-related smartphone use. This statistic should be enough to convince us that people, in general, are in desperate need of some sensory rest. A good way to do that is as simple as closing your eyes for a minute or two in the middle of the day and concentrating on only one thing - it can be your breathing, the tick of the clock, or even a song. It is valuable to provide ourselves with moments of sensory deprivation so we can listen to our bodies and take care of their needs. Photo by Freepik.
