Why?

It's crucial to set boundaries, so you don't lose focus when working. It means informing everyone around you the time you are unavailable. For example, if you work from home, you can talk to your family and friends and explain which periods you would like not to be disturbed. If you work in an office, talk to your team and tell them when you will be available. It also means politely saying “no” to additional tasks when you already have a lot on your plate. Remember that if you don't tell, people won't know! So it's up to you to set boundaries when needed.
