Distractions are the enemies of multitaskers!
So what can you do? One of the biggest distractions nowadays is in our pockets, so turn your cellphone notifications off. If you use a smartwatch, turn it off as well! Suppose you’re helping a customer and realize you’re receiving many messages, calls, or notifications in general. In that case, you’ll feel the urge to check it and lose your focus! Also, be careful with gossiping coworkers! Try not to make it easy for your mind to drift your attention away from your duties.
