Sometimes it can be tough to let go of something, and you may feel attached to it somehow or even guilty for deciding to discard it, and that's okay! Just remember, does it spark joy? Does it contribute? Okay, so you thought about it and decided you don’t need it anymore, what now? The KonMari method encourages you to show gratitude and thank the item before you discard it. Think about the times this item was valuable and how it might have helped you and made your work easier, and then you let go with gratitude! If it’s in good condition, you can give it to someone who needs it; you can donate or even sell it!
