If you think that your dog has eaten a poisonous plant, you should immediately try to make it vomit.

Forcing your animal to throw up is never an option! The best thing you can do is contact your local veterinarian or the Animal Poison Control Center's 24-hour emergency poison hotline at 1-888-426-4435 or even the Pet Poison Helpline at 1-855-764-7661. You may be asked to take the plant, the plant label, or even a sample of the vomit for further inspection at the clinic, so be prepared to do so. Source: ASPCA, 2021.
