As you might have noticed before. The scanner includes two pieces of equipment:
▷ The larger scanner, which contains the red light that scans the barcode. The cashier must simply swipe the barcode across the clear part of the check-out counter. Once it reads the barcode, the computer beeps. And the item, or its name, pops up on the computer screen.
▷ The small scanner is recommended for items further away or oddly shaped, let's say a snowboard. It would be too much work to scan it on the conveyor belt. So you better use the small scanner.
