Why?

An average adult human body is about 60% water. You lose about eight glasses of water a day by sweating and urinating. Not replacing this loss causes dehydration, making you susceptible to many health issues, such as headaches, dizziness, drowsiness, nausea, muscle cramps, and dry mouth. When dehydrated, a person's body and mind can't function at their best, causing you to feel more tired and sluggish than usual. If you think replacing water with soda is ok, you thought wrong: it does not replace water, and it can make dehydration even worse by increasing urine production. If you can't make it without soda, try drinking one extra glass of water for each glass of soda you drink to lessen its negative physical consequences. A hydrated body can carry out tasks, such as: ✓ carrying nutrients and oxygen to your cells ✓ flushing bacteria from your bladder ✓ aiding digestion ✓ preventing constipation ✓ normalizing blood pressure ✓ stabilizing heartbeat ✓ cushioning joints ✓ protecting organs and tissues ✓ regulating body temperature So, remember to carry a bottle of water and set up an alarm on your smartphone to remind you to drink it during the night shift. If you still have questions about what happens to your body when it's not hydrated, check the video below (you can see the specific content from 2:03 to 2:22): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iMGFqMmUFs
