Why?

At some point, this action will create a misunderstanding. Some people can do a million things simultaneously, but we are not talking about this incredible superpower, as not everyone can do it. Here is a tip: Pause what you are doing and take a few minutes to listen to whoever is talking to you. It is crucial to turn your attention to the conversation into Active Listening, so get rid of any distractions you can have. When we are talking, and people don't pay attention, it drives us mad. So, stop checking your phone or reading emails, or, despite people think it is not polite, you can tell them softly and casually to talk in another moment, making sure you will give attention properly.
