Long wait lines can discourage customers from buying.

MISTAKE #06: Allowing long wait lines at the cash register. When customers wait in lines for a long time, they start questioning themselves about their purchase: - Can I buy it online? - Is it really worth the wait? - Do I need this? - Can I buy it another day? - Does that other store have this product? Online stores can easily track abandoned carts, but brick-and-mortar stores might not notice it. Take a look around the store and look for items placed far from their original location: they were probably abandoned by frustrated or annoyed customers.
