Why?

You shouldn't be afraid to communicate your opinions and your limits. If your teammates know where you stand, then they know how to communicate with you effectively. It might seem scary to stand up for yourself, say no, or set ground rules, but it's better than having a melt down at work because you can't take it anymore. Be assertive, it's ok. You are allowed, just don't be rude.
