Why?

It is time for taking action! Once the waste is determined, and countermeasures are planned, you must: ✦ Correct the root cause and remedy the problem. ✦ Keep your eye on the goals and targets that were set. Once actions are taken, you have to monitor the results. Were the efforts successful? Then what’s next? ✦ If goals were met and wastes reduced or erased, then success should be communicated. ✦ If you fell short of the mark, what and where did it go wrong? You then should analyze the whole process and go back to the goal-setting stage. ✦ It is necessary to determine what additional corrective action is necessary and map alternative measures.
