Why?

When customers feel you care about their satisfaction and don't want them to be trapped by products they're not happy with, you build a community of customers. Here are a few tips for you to handle refunds and returns in a way that benefits you both: Stay calm and polite through the process - Make sure to use an apologetic and positive tone instead of a suspicious and negative one. Train your staff to deal with demanding customers and fix the situation. Make the process fast and easy - consumers are usually unhappy that they need to return a product, so waiting in a long line at the return counter can add extra frustration. To accelerate the process, allocate a special window or aisle to returns, if possible, and be sure to have a point of sale that makes returning an item to stock easy to do. Don't ask for many details about the return - as long as it's not deceitful and the product is undamaged, accept the return and ask just one question, "Why would you like to return the product?".
