Why?

Sandwich feedback is most definitely not unanimity in the talent acquisition world. Some say it helps ease the sting of difficult comments to hear, and some say it flies in the face of effective feedback. One thing is certain though: even when rejecting a candidate, you should point out their strengths and positive characteristics. This way, you’ll help them notice traits they can explore and focus on in future hiring processes – and you won’t leave them feeling completely unsuitable for the career path they’ve chosen. Now, if you don’t know what on Earth sandwich feedback is, that’s completely alright.
