The final stage of Modern Career Development is:

At some point you will begin to feel uncomfortable, on edge or unsatisfied in your current role. You may start to think of what's next for you. Maybe you want to change industries entirely, or maybe you just want to move up the ranks in the same field. This stage leads back to the first one (Assessment) again in a circular fashion. You are a different person than you were when you began this journey. You have developed new skills and discovered new talents. Once you re-assess yourself and re-examine your options you may decide to stick with what you've got, but adapt it somehow so that your job grows with you, or you may decide to try something new.
