MISTAKE #02: Not greeting the customer.
Some employees might think customers don't want to be bothered while shopping, but how can they be sure if they haven't even greeted the customer in the first place? When you welcome a customer, they are more likely to open up and interact with you! Also, they will feel more comfortable approaching you later if they need something.
