There should be a detailed fire evacuation plan for the building.

Check the company's fire evacuation plan, see if they're up to date, and check if there's any need for alterations. If the company doesn't have a detailed evacuation plan that covers the escape routes, nearest exits, primary roles, and responsibilities for chosen employees, talk to your manager to ensure your safety and your co-workers' as well.
