Water has only the purpose of hydrating cells.
Question 5 of 7
Health & Fitness

Water has only the purpose of hydrating cells.
Why?
The water is responsible for:
• Cushioning and lubricating joints;
• Regulating temperature;
• Nourishing the brain and spinal cord.
So we got to the point, why is water essential to keep the body functioning perfectly?
Water is not only present in the blood—the water compounds 3/4 of our brain and heart. When we don't drink water, we lose energy, blood pressure, and mood - because our brains work more than usual when hydrated.
Studies show that when we drink water properly, we can lower the chances of strokes, help manage diabetes, and reduce the risk of certain types of cancer.
