Why?

A letter of presentation or cover letter is not your resume!

Your resume has to work as a self-marketing tool to get your foot in the door.

In other words: It has to get people to call you to get you an interview!

Your resume is:

⦿ Your 15-second chance to impress the reader.

⦿ 2 to 4 pages of job-relevant information.

⦿ A tool to emphasize your most relevant achievements.

⦿ A summary of your main qualifications and employments.

It has to be a summary of your skills, experiences, and qualifications. It should be position-oriented, which means it has to be tweaked and edited for each specific job you are applying for.
