Why?

Active Listening means you are listening to someone else attentively, using empathy and support skills. It would be best if you made it positively, reflecting and understanding, not only being silent when the other person is speaking but paying attention by listening, providing them feedback, and getting the comprehension of the words and the whole message. Using Active Listening, you can reap the following benefits: → Create trust relationships; → Boost self-confidence; → Avoid mistakes and misunderstandings; → Improve productivity. You can listen actively by: → Briefing; → Avoiding distractions; → Paying attention carefully to the other's speeches. This way, you will make the other person feel heard and valued.
