Why?

Scaffolding is a technique used in many schools to aid children in learning. For example, providing children with a worksheet that has questions about the topic on it. These could be prompts for the children to help them independently think of the answer. Teachers also create activities that involve the children to socially interact with each other, making them conversate with more knowledgeable others, helping them reach a full understanding of the topic.
