Why?

Miscible and mixable are synonyms, so if you are explaining this concept to a younger child you can just say unmixable or mixable. An example of 2 liquids that are mixable are water and food coloring. When you pour one into the other, they mix to form a solution. To the naked eye, it looks like 1 liquid, not two mixed.
