Why?

When setting up the camera angle for the interview, make sure it's on eye level, so you don't give the impression of looking down on the interviewer; remember the importance of eye contact! If possible, use a laptop or a computer instead of a phone. It looks more professional, gives a better view of you and your surroundings, and avoids excessive camera movement. If your only option is your phone, though, be sure you place it somewhere, on eye level. Avoid holding it in your hand so it doesn't shake, and the other person can see you better.
