Why?

You can’t impose on customers a specific payment option. Unless it is the company’s policy, common sense has it that it is not, because it goes against providing excellent customer experience. Some customers might hand you the exact amount. But most are likely to hand you bills and wait on for the change. You say: “Your total is $26.80…” The customer: “Alright! Here’s a 50!” The customer hands you a 50 dollar bill. What now?! Sweat dripping off your face… You have to calculate fast so the customer doesn’t notice you are counting the change in your head. Well, with the POS system you don’t have to worry about it.

▷ Type cash. ▷ Choose the amount the customer gave you. ▷ Check the amount of change you have to give back. ▷ Count as you give the change to the customer.
