Why?

Sometimes, feedback is given off the cuff, and that’s totally fine. Sometimes you’re asked your opinion on a matter in the middle of a conversation. However, if you’re providing more formal feedback, you may need some space and time to ponder your words and thoughts to provide practical, pertinent information. Adopt a thoughtful approach and plan the best way to deliver the message. When preparing your feedback, you should consider: ✓Key information: focus on essential points and issues you want to cover ✓Delivery: how will feedback be delivered? It could be face-to-face, by video call, or email, for example. ✓Clear examples: think of concrete examples to illustrate your point. Ask yourself these questions to be prepared for delivering feedback: When did this situation happen? Provide the context. Has it happened frequently, or is it an isolated episode? How important is it? How does it affect others? What do they need to do differently in the future to handle this problem?
