Jamming all the content together on a single document or e-mail is anything but a good idea. To simply put it, you have to focus on the essence of the content.
Heidi Cohen suggests '12 Attributes of a Successful Content Curation Strategy' on her blog; we picked the top three we found valuable for HR associates to use:
1. The less is more
Remember, we are already overwhelmed by content, so make it objective and valuable through and through.
2. Credit its creator
Credit the creator of the content where appropriated. Content curation is not about plagiarism.
3. Involve the community
Curation has to be audience-oriented!
Taking our previous example: Andrea is coming up with training material for her construction worker employees! Therefore she has to keep them in mind at all times.
