Why?
It is important to work efficiently and promptly. But when it comes to task delegation, patience is a game changer!
You are likely to be more experienced than your associates as you are the leader, for that reason, you do have to take into account that when you delegate certain tasks, they might take a longer time than you would've to get it done.
How can you develop your patience skills?
➜ Remember you came a long way to get where you are;
➜ The more you delegate, the more experienced your associates become, and faster they will get things done;
➜ Focus on the deadline, and help them with time management;
Keep in mind that you weren't that skilled when you started and time has helped you sharpen your skills.
