Why?

The customer who made an effort to go in person has priority. In this case, it would be best to interrupt the caller and explain the situation, for example: "Mário, I have someone who just walked in, can I ask you to hold for a moment?" be sure to wait for agreement. After that, greet the new customer, explain that you are finishing a call, and wrap up your conversation with the caller. Now, if you have an in-person customer and the phone rings, you can wait for someone to get the call or send them to voicemail. Customers might consider it rude if you stop talking to them to answer the phone, and chances are they'll not come back. Thinking about situations like this help you test your customer service skills, and if you want to know more ways to test it, check the link below: https://www.customerservicemanager.com/how-to-test-your-telephone-customer-service/
