Who was Lev Vygotsky?
Why?
Lev Vygotsky (1896-1934) was a Russian psychologist that was best known for his work done on children’s cognitive development. Several teaching techniques have been influenced by his theories and his techniques are displayed in many schools. Although his theories were made many years ago, they are still relevant to this day.
Sociologists study the structure and development of society, however, psychologists aim for a more scientific approach when it comes to understanding human behaviour. Many people get confused between sociologists and psychologists.
