Why?

Dogs are scavengers by nature and aren't known for being typical picky eaters. When they are hungry, they'll try to eat anything and everything that looks edible, including plants. However, as dogs aren't exclusively carnivores, they can ingest a great variety of food to get the nutrients they need.
