You are cleaning the floor and a customer shows up. What should you do?

Customers always come first! So, just as described above, stop what you are doing, smile, and take care of the customer. Be friendly and engage them by asking what they would like; if providing them with a sliced product, ask about the thickness of the meat/cheese and offer a sample so they can taste it. Regardless of the customer’s demeanor, be friendly and polite. Make sure to ask them if you could help them with anything else, thank them, and invite them to come back again.
