You can send the customer a new bill that includes the returned check fee and any fees you may have for NSF checks.

After you've contacted the customer, you can send them a new bill that includes the returned check fee as well as any fees the company may have had for NSF checks. Also, be sure to indicate the total amount that is due upon receipt, as reimbursement of NSF fees is not subject to standard payment terms.
